A few years ago I built out our entire client journey using an excel spreadsheet then built it out in mailchimp. Here’s the outline. This is an enhancement to the client experience not a replacement for all communications.

Our foundations program is 6 classes long, we send them follow up emails after each class. In addition, we set up http://foundations.crossfitcomo.com/ so that they can learn the moves again on their own.

Retention Email Series
Our email retention series is broken into three parts. One is based on their # of check-ins; another is based on their length of time, and finally they get an email anytime we update our Events or Blog on our website on Thursdays at 9:00 am.
10th Check-in: How’s it going?
50th Check-in: Congrats, you’ve made it 50 WODs!
50th Check-in #2: Give us your success story. This is where I ask them to answer 5 questions and give me information for my success story on our website.
75th Check-in: Congrats!
75th Check-in #2: Give the gift of a FREE Foundations Class!
