I’m a big fan of email marketing, it’s still one of the most effective tools in the digital marketing tool kit. Here’s a quick 5 minute or less exercise to start a conversation with former athletes or prospects on your email list who have gone cold.

January 9, I sent out an email to a list of 400 people that have either participated in my Bootcamp Enrollement Program or at the very least inquired about it. It was so simple and I got 100 responses from a variety of people, that’s 25% of the list.
Body: Are you still interested in getting fit and losing weight in 2017?
The responses were quick and fast, the first one responded within minutes. I personally responded to each one and asked them how we can help. It kept the conversation going. As of this writing, a dozen have signed up for our upcoming bootcamp and at least 5 are starting up CrossFit.
Our bootcamp price is $300 for six-weeks and our membership for CrossFit is $150/month. You do the math on how valuable this 9 word email is.
